                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 4642
                   NORTHLAND LANE, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF
                   NORTHLAND LANE NORTHEAST OF SABLE DRIVE FROM
                   R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-3 MD MODERATE
                   DENSITY ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 4642 Northland Lane, being on
              the southeast line of Northland Lane northeast of Sable
              Drive.  Lot 17, Revised Plan of Murraylake Addition to
              Cherry Hills Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in
              plat book 24, page 9, R.O.H.C., being the property
              described in deed book 3753, page 584, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map
              No. 129A-H-9.
             
         from R-1 Residential Zone to R-3 MD Moderate Density Zone.
         	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
